24th Annual Westberg Parish Nursing Symposium
"Thriving in a Changing World"
Goal/Intent: Parish nursing can thrive in challenging times because intentional spiritual care is the core. This symposium will equip parish nurses with strategies and tools to enhance wholistic ministries.
Target Audience: The 24th Annual Westberg Parish Nurse Symposium is intended for professional nurses, clergy, health administrators, educators, coordinators, laypersons involved in health ministry and others involved with, or interested in, parish nursing.
Objectives: At the completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:
Identify three strategies for balance of personal and professional life through spirituality, growth and renewal.
Discuss the development of collaboration and networking in times of limited resources and increasing needs.
Implement ideas to build and sustain fervor in their ministry/practice.
Select tools and strategies to promote value, effectiveness and visibility of their parish nurse practice.
Continuing Education: Deaconess Parish Nurse Ministries, LLC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Missouri Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Upon request, Clergy Continuing Education Units for this event will be awarded by Eden Theological Seminary. (Participants will be awarded 1 unit per 10 contact hours.)
